CREDI assists your business by working with EDA's of Crosby, and Emily and their Revolving Loan Funds; the City of Ironton's EDA and it's fully developed Industrial Park, along with rock-solid, supportive financial institutions local to the area. Tax Increment Financing for industry and for commercial and retail businesses are also proven incentives.

CREDI is your link to the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Agency's (IRRRA) Low Interest Bank Participation Loan & Grants Program, unique only to the Taconite Tax Relief Area.

The Cuyuna Range is bounded to the north by the Crow Wing County/Cass County line; to the east by the Crow Wing County/Aitkin County line; to the west by the westernmost boundaries of: Fairfield Township, Perry Lake Township, Wolford Township, Irondale Township, and Nokay Lake Township; to the south by the southernmost boundaries of Nokay Lake Township and Bay Lake Township. The Cuyuna Range consists of the foregoing named townships and the following: Little Pine, Ross Lake, Rabbit Lake, and Deerwood Townships, and the Cluster Cities of Crosby, Cuyuna, Deerwood, Emily, Ironton, Riverton and Trommald.

The current population of the Cuyuna Range is estimated at10,750 among 4,564 Households. The Population, within the commercial-retail municipal centers of the Deerwood, Crosby, Ironton and Riverton corridor along US Highway 210, is estimated at 3,314 and the number of Households at 1,499. The Population of the city of Emily, seventeen miles to the north of Crosby on State Highway 6, is estimated at 847 among 368 Households. Seasonal households are estimated at 2,778 across the cities and townships.

In 1998, CREDI established the support from five of the seven cities on the Cuyuna Range to create the State's first Joint Powers Economic Development Authority. The "Cuyuna Range Joint Powers Economic Development Authority" is made up of the city Econmic Development Authorities and works on major projects that have a direct affect on the Cuyuna Range.
